Tribe Norfolk Weekend 2019 - The Best Bits!

Thankyou so much to everyone who joined us for Tribe this year, it was a wonderful weekend of celebrating the creativity and community of our gorgeous county. We’ve had some amazing feedback from you all and we’re already planning for 2020. There were so many highlights and our friend Sam Cook Photography captured many beautiful moments which you can see below.

Our bands provided the perfect musical accompaniment to the sunshine and good vibes from the hauntingly beautiful voice of Niamh to the high energy of Pirate Joe & The Foreign Locals who kept the adults and children mesmerised on Saturday night. On Sunday, Mengel Moes bought their charismatic blend of jazz-funk to the stage and a big shout-out goes to Two Bit Operators who stepped in last-minute to save the day when one of our performers couldn’t make it (thankyou thankyou).

One of the highlights of the weekend was our Tribe Wellness area that was filled with equal amounts of high-energy, laughter and deep relaxation and inner work. Led by Emilie of Santosha Yoga, our tent welcomed everything from hip hop yoga to bedtime pyjama yoga for the whole family and sound healing on Sunday morning.

Our wonderful workshops allowed children and adults alike to learn new skills and create something beautiful for their homes. Our pottery teachers Wayside Pottery and Alice Cary Art were popular once again with all sorts of wonderful pieces coming off the wheel. Pretty Cactus Plants helped festival-goers create sweet plant-holders and there was willow weaving with Karen Bek and fabric jewellery-making with Stitch Me Happy. And let’s not forget our wonderful archery range from non-profit organisation Water Wish.

The children were beguiled by the puppet tales and bedtime stories at Bewilderwood who joined us for the second year and toddlers love the bright and bold Hartbeeps tent. The childrenswear on offer from Baby Man Store and Little Dottie Designs were equally adorable.

Our maker’s market was full of treasures from hand-crafted home decor from Make, Fix, Do and macrame from Lovely Little Lot Of Knots to jewellery from Sara Argentum, festival accessories from The Braidy Bunch and Jipola, henna, face-painting and so much more.
